Should you wish to book a driving lesson then you can either use the Book a Lesson button or ring the office and we will be happy to help you.
Taking driving lessons in the Gravesend area
Bradleys can offer you driving lessons in Gravesend, Swanscombe and the surrounding areas. All of our driving instructors drive dual control cars, many with air conditioning, making your driving lesson experience as safe and comfortable as possible. All of our driving instructors are trained to the DSA's national standards.
Yor driving instructor will know the surrounding area and will be able to give you driving lessons that are local as well as being able to book driving lessons that fit in with your times and availability. With a large driving school like Bradleys it means we have more instructors available in your areas who are likely to be able to meet your driving lesson needs.
Do I have a choice of Manual or Automatic cars?
Before deciding whether you want a manual or automatic car to learn to drive in please read our page giving some information on each type of car. At present we are unable to offer automatic cars in the Gravesend area. It is worth noting that as Bradleys expands in the Bromley area we will be adding new cars and instructors on a regular basis. Please check back for more details.
Can I have a female instructor for my driving lessons?
Currently Bradleys Kent are able to offer male and female driving instructors to cover driving lessons in the Gravesend area. As a fast growing company in this area this could change on a week to week basis as we recruit more driving instructors in these areas. Please ring the office for the latest information.
Are there other pupils in the car with me?
Bradleys School of Motoring offer full one to one driving tuition. There is no "piggy backing" of other pupils in the car with you. As you are paying for the driving instructors time we do not feel it is fair that you should share that time with other people.
On very rare occasions there may be a DSA Senior Examiner or senior member of Bradleys in the car with you, but you will be informed well in advance should this be the case.
How long are the driving lessons?
The minimum length of our driving lessons is one hour, although you can choose to do longer lessons. We realise that some schools my want you to take 2 hour driving lessons as a minimum but we firmly believe that learning at your own pace and within your own budget is the most beneficial way of learning to drive.
If it is your first time of driving then you may want to consider a longer first driving lesson. It is not compulsory but will give you more driving time and a chance to become familiar with moving the car.
The price we quote is for a one hour driving lesson. Some other driving schools quote lower prices but these generally are for shorter lessons of around 40 minutes.
Do you offer discounts on blocks of driving lessons?
Discounts are applied to block bookings of 5, 10, 20 and 30 hours of driving lessons. Please check our Prices page for more information and exact prices.
Normally blocks of lessons are paid to the office by debit or credit card.
As a large driving school we are also able to offer discounts on driving lessons for students and NHS workers as well as some special offers when booking driving lessons. It is worth checking back regularly to see what offers we may have added.
