Do Bradleys Driving Lessons cover my area?
As one of the largest driving schools in the south east, Essex, East London and North London areas Bradleys offers excellent coverage over a large area. Below are information pages for all of the major towns in the Kent and South East London areas that we have driving instructors currently offering driving lessons in or around.
One of the biggest advantages of joining a large driving school like Bradleys is that not only do we offer superb quality affordable driving lessons but also that we are always expanding our driving instructor numbers and adding new services (such as automatic driving lessons, a choice of male or femalel driving instructors and Pass Plus) that other, smaller schools many not be able to offer either now or in the future.
If you are a driving instructor who is interested in joining us we have a separate site that deals with recruitment where you can find more information about working with Bradleys as well as information about the company in general. Please follow this link for more details.
Navigate to the town nearest to your area using the menu above (or the links below) to see what types of driving lessons and other services we offer as well as being able to check out information about test centres that are close by.
How much do driving lessons cost?
Manual driving lessons in the Kent and South London areas start from £17 per hour (based on a block of 30 driving lessons). We can also offer discounts to students and NHS workers on the normal hourly driving lesson rate. See our Price Page for more information.
Can you cover Driving Tests at short notice?
We get a large number of requests, particularly over the summer months, asking if we have anyone available to cover a driving test, usually with less than one weeks notice. Normally this is due to people having gone with an independant driving instructor or a smaller school and their instructor is either double booked or is going on holiday.
We can cover some driving tests at short notice. However as we wish to ensure the safety of both you, the pupil, and of our driving instructor we will not take anyone on a driving test who has not been a pupil with our driving school until we have seen them drive for a minimum of five hours. As we encourage our pupils to check test dates with our instructors and offer continual assessment we are more able to judge pupils readiness for a test. We also have a commitment to our existing pupils, so the time you have for your test plus the lessons needed beforehand may not be available.
It is worth ringing the office to see if we can cover a driving test for you though. We will not take someone for a test with less than 5 working days notice, and the price for the five driving lessons and a practical test package is a fixed £170.

We offer our pupils a number of resources and downloads to help them with their driving lessons as well as in areas such as the theory test, advice on your practical test as well as other useful links to websites offering learner driver help and advice.
